Southpark House (DG1 1QR) is situated in the South West of Scotland, on the edge of Locharbriggs, but still within the burgh of Dumfries.
From the south (A75) take the A701 North towards Glasgow/Edinburgh and Locharbriggs, pass the new Toyota & Skoda Garage on the left, then first left Quarry Road...
From the North (M74) come off at junction 15 and take the A701 towards Dumfries for over 14 miles. On entering Dumfries, pass the car garages on both sides (Ford/Citroen/Peugeot), and as you go down the hill turn right into Quarry Road...
Continue along Quarry Road to the end. Southpark House is the very last house on the left, with white gate and white railings.
In our pictureque region, there is a great variety of historical attractions to visit, most within a very short distance, including Caerlaverock Castle - "A Maxwell stronghold during the 13th century".
There is enough to keep even the most energetic of visitors busy during their stay at Southpark. For those who are more activity minded there is an excellent variety of sports and leisure facilities in the town and outlying areas nearby.
